A worldwide consultant and entrepreneur, Giuliano began his education as a cook before he could reach the counter, and by age 17 was a hard-working assistant at Marcella Hazan’s renowned School of Classic Italian Cooking in Bologna. The only other place Giuliano offers hands-on classes is at his school in Italy at the renaissance Villa Giona in the heart of Verona’s wine country.
Giuliano Hazan is the author of four critically acclaimed cookbooks and the recipient of the 2007 International Association of Culinary Professionals Cooking Teacher of the Year Award. His fourth, and newest book, THIRTY MINUTE PASTA, is now available on amazon.com.
Ann Iverson assists Giuliano. She believes hands-on classes like these are almost impossible to find outside of Italy, and certainly are unique to Houston. She has studied Italian cooking with Marcella Hazan, Giuliano Hazan, Mary Beth Clark, Giuliano Bugialli, and Lorenza de Medici.
You will enjoy the 4-course delicious meals you prepare, from antipasti to dolci, including risotto and pasta dishes as well as meat, fish and vegetable dishes, paired with regional Italian wines. One of the classes will be based on Giuliano's newest book.
